These images were never intended for galleries or magazines — they were taken in real time, in real clubs, during a moment in music history that will never happen again. Shot from the floor, side-stage, and often backstage, they offer an unfiltered look at the scene exactly as it was.
This book features previously unseen photographs of bands and artists who helped define the era — including Blondie, PiL, The Clash, Madness, The Specials, The Selecter, 999, The Cramps, Sham 69, The Undertones, The Go-Go’s, John Cale, X, The Blasters, Stiff Little Fingers, Patti Smith and more.
